It was Fitz who revived him, and in the midst of it all, Nanahoshi posed a question: did Rudeus recognize the names Shinohara Akito or Kuroki Satoshi? Unfamiliar with the names, Rudeus deduced that Nanahoshi must be a character from his previous life.
He couldn't help but notice the striking resemblance between Nanahoshi, who had removed her mask to reveal her true self as Nanahoshi Shizuka, and the high school student he had died trying to save. Rudeus wished to stay, but Nanahoshi was determined to find a way back to their world.
She disclosed that unlike Rudeus, who had been reincarnated as a child, she had been summoned to the fantasy realm five years prior in her adult form, without aging during that time.
Since then, she had devoted herself to the study of summoning magic under Orsted's guidance, despite her lack of mana and inability to cast spells.
Ariel adamantly urged Sylphy to unveil her true self to Rudeus and issued an ultimatum: if she failed, their bond would be severed indefinitely. In response, Sylphy unveiled poignant memories stored in her core, which she could vividly recreate to jog Rudeus's memory.
